Choose the Blue

Here's a nice new site that tells you which businesses donate the most money to Democrats, so that you can plan your shopping accordingly. According to the site's creators,

If each American who voted for John Kerry spends $100 in 2005 on a Blue company instead of a Red company, we can move $5 Billion away from Republican companies and add $5 Billion to the income of companies who donate to Democrats.

Well worth looking into, I'd say.

Oh, this is great! "Vote with your dollar" is my motto...including not buying factory farm pork (as mentioned in your other post). It's not always easy making these changes, but it's time to get educated and consider the moral implications of our purchases. As another pround member of the reality-based community, THANK YOU.

Thanks for the site. I'm acting as general contractor for our house and I see that, for starters, GAF is the way to go for roofing.

Perhaps you could post this on Eschaton as a topic too. Word.
