Mary,

It's a very odd, very small, very colorful sea creature, and a proud member of the reality-based community.

Ooooh. We've got a couple of those. One is yellow and pink and the other is white with green trim. I have the feeling that these are going to be my husband's next obsession after the corals.....

Okay, this is the SQUEALIEST "ooooooooooh!" you've EVER heard.

My daughter's gonna see that when she gets here in a few minutes and scream, "I WANT one of those!"

Hell, I want one, too, and I don't even KEEP aquariums anymore.

Don't got Blogger-nothin', so this is...
Silleigh

Silleigh,
My daughter wanted one, too. And she's 14, and faux-goth, and decidedly out of the cutesy phase. But something like this can shake her out of her oh-so-bored phase for a moment. Thanks, Phila.

That's a lovely thing, there. Beats what's living in my aquaria...

I'm proud to be a part of the evolutionary reality that produced that.

So here's Philalethes posting Nudie pix on his blog, obviously in a deliberate attempt to insult reliious Red State sensibilities--thereby sinking our chances in the 2006 midterms. Thanks a lot, aquatic pornmeister!
