Great post. I followed up on some of their other You Tubes, the one with the long penny whistle instrument really makes me wish it was a clearer picture.
The one you posted, for some reason, reminds me of the old duo "Time Square Two". I don't think I've thougt of them in the past 38 years or so.

Loved the video. Would love to know where it's from. The 'hopa' implies Greek or generally Balkan, but I don't recognize the instruments.

It's from Kyrgyzstan, and the instrument is the komuz, which is a sort of lute with three strings.

You can tell they're from Kyrgystan from the guys' hats. Very distinctive.
