Another great selection. Have you heard Wilder's music for bassoon?

Pretty interesting. Alec Wilder in new to me. Nice find. Quite a variety of tonal color for an octet. Must have been a lot of doubling. Do I hear the clarinet passing the melody back and forth with a soprano sax around 1:45 to 1:50? Sounds like an oboe in there, too, a bit later. Jazzy, but clasical-ish as well, kinda, sorta.

Pleasant piece of music, but not very daring harmonically.
