thanx for this link. which took me to moonriver's, which took me to alec soth's, which caused me to waste the whole day looking at and thinking about photography.
digital will never be able to compete with more arcane methods because you don't have to work hard enough at it, of course that statement is not an absolute. i like the way Lutter described her printmaking as "anxiety driven". risk, magic...
