This is a remarkable song. It sounds ancient, but was written by Cyil Tawney (1930 - 2005.) Never heard of him until this song sent me on a google search.

This performance really emphasizes the modal nature of the music. Now i need to go find other renditions.

one of our faves. a great harmony. one of our friends who sings harmonies decide that it was two voices harmonizing around the missing middle line. a mystery to me
