Friday Nudibranch Blogging
Here we have Kentodoris rubescens. Freed from the necessity of earning their livings, they have an abundance of leisure in which to cultivate the "small sweet courtesies of life."
I've made a screen saver from several of your nudibranch pix, with a couple of nebula shots from 4Legsgood. Nudibranch and nebula fit well together, both have enchanting color combinations. Thank you for beautiful critters I'd never heard of before. The internets are fun to play with.
Phila, you mean they're having sex, don't you.
ReplyDeleteOkay, those look like delectable little sugar confections.
ReplyDeleteDelicious!!
The eyes look like cherries. My first thought was they look like old-fashioned headlights.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, maybe they're not even eyes.

Hedwig,
ReplyDeleteWe must be having e-mail troubles! I've been trying to get a hold of you...
I'll try again now...
who woulda thunk it -- hot fudge sundaes at the bottom of the ocean!
ReplyDeleteThey resemble adorable little bumper cars!
ReplyDeleteThese are as interesting as any exotic beastie from the Cambrian Explosion with the added bonus of all the colors of a Dairy Queen banana split.
