Friday Nudibranch Blogging
This is Hexabranchus sanguineus. Don't look at it all at once...it'll have to last you for a while. I'm taking a much-needed jaunt up to the glorious Pacific Northwest, and am unlikely to post anything else 'til Monday.
Where do you get these photos from, anyway? And how did you get into nudibranchs? (You've probably answered those questions a long time ago but not all your readers have been with you forever.) I'd like to read what you have to say about nudibranch biology, their ecological roles, maybe how they are doing in the ocean that humans are mucking up, all that stuff.
It looks like it wants a tummyrub.
ReplyDeleteChicken parm?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a piece of pizza, yum! By the way, enjoy the PNW for me, too.

Have a safe trip, Phila. And a fun one!
ReplyDeleteOnly a nudibranch would have the courage to mix brick red with purple!
