I actually skimmed through "Scie...Yeah, I think so! I actually skimmed through "Science of Science and Reflexivity" a year or so ago - I picked it up mainly because of the odd title, and the small size, and the fact that I try to read a variety of books on that subject. I had a favorable enough impression of it that I read "On Television," which I liked a lot. And then, I kind of forgot about both books, until you kept having interesting stuff to say about this Bourdieu character, at which point I re-read "SSR" more closely. Other than that, I really know nothing about him. But I definitely intend to read the Flaubert book based on your recommendation.
